Founder’s Story
NEXTIER Insurance Services was founded by husband and wife Cory and Tina Neubauer with a passion for delivering a boutique, client-centered experience in an ever-evolving insurance landscape. Recognizing a gap in the marketplace for personalized service, they were driven to create an agency dedicated to the unique needs of homeowners associations. NEXTIER Insurance Services was born from their vision to provide the “next tier” of service—where every client, current or future, receives individual attention, friendly guidance, and custom-tailored solutions. Their approach continues to resonate, as NEXTIER grows by assisting each client one-on-one with the commitment and expertise that HOAs deserve.
Cory Neubauer
Managing Partner
Cory has a wealth of experience in commercial real estate and insurance, offering a unique, solutions-driven approach to his work. Passionate about helping others, Cory excels at tackling complex insurance challenges and finding tailored solutions that meet each client’s specific needs. His personable nature and commitment to client success ensure that every interaction with NEXTIER is both supportive and straightforward.
Cory is actively involved in every aspect of the business, ensuring that each client receives the utmost care and attention. As NEXTIER continues to grow, Cory’s focus remains on maintaining the firm’s high standards of service in a landscape that increasingly relies on technology and online systems. Cory plays a leadership role in industry trade organizations, serving on committees for multiple CAI chapters, CACM, and the California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC). His active engagement ensures he remains at the forefront of industry developments, enabling him to deliver strategic insights and guidance on HOA insurance.
Tina Neubauer
Executive Vice President
Tina has spent her career dedicated to guiding HOA clients in securing the best coverage for their communities. As a certified Community Risk Management Specialist (CRMS), she emphasizes the importance of educating clients to navigate the complexities of HOA insurance. Tina’s passion for protecting her clients is reflected in her thorough approach, identifying potential risks and providing proactive, well-planned coverage options for peace of mind.
Tina is also involved in trade organizations such as CAI and CACM, staying informed to provide clients with the most up-to-date insights on HOA insurance. Outside of her professional life, Tina is an active mother of two and a dedicated member of the AYSO Soccer board, furthering her commitment to the community. Whether cheering from the sidelines or supporting her children at soccer or fencing events, she remains actively engaged.
Summer Blaser
Executive Vice President, Business Development and Sales
Summer brings extensive experience in business development, contracts, and insurance to her role. Client success is her top priority, and she works closely with HOA Boards and Management Companies to provide innovative and essential solutions in the current challenging insurance market.
Known for her energetic personality and commitment to high-level service, Summer is also involved with industry organizations such as CAI and CACM. She is passionate about giving back to the community and is active in charitable organizations, including the Pediatric Cancer Research Center, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Yana Cancer Comfort, and Shea Therapeutic Riding Center.
Elise Hunt
Assistant Vice President
Elise is a seasoned expert in HOA insurance, having built a strong reputation for her depth of knowledge and commitment to her clients. Known for her engaging personality and unwavering professionalism, she leaves a lasting impression on clients who appreciate working with her.
